I didn’t forget to post over the weekend; I just decided that I didn’t feel like doing it. My motivation isn’t high at all lately, and I think I’m just tired of trying to write about something that has become so frustrating. I did weigh myself this morning but didn’t record it. After yet another weekend of eating too much, posting what I gained wasn’t appealing.

For the next two weeks, I’m going to try to eat steak salad every night after skipping breakfast and lunch. I also have yogurt and blueberries if I feel like dessert. As always, I’m going to try to avoid both sugar and flour. Right now, my body doesn’t feel very good, so I have at least some motivation to stick to this plan.

I’m still trying to figure out how to convince myself that my job isn’t awful. The constant stress from my job is wearing me out, and it makes it hard to stick to eating healthy. If I have to figure out strategies just to make it through one hour or one day of work, I’m probably not in the right job.

Anyway, I hope this week is more constructive than the past dozen or so have been. We’ll see…
