This has been a hard week because I’ve felt absolutely exhausted after work. I feel like I haven’t really had any time to think about eating healthy. (It’s been a while since I’ve been able to read anything about the subject, either). Anyway, because I had no desire to stop by the grocery store after work (because it’s always crazy there after work), I stopped by P. Terry’s for the usual (and I guess the fact that I have a “usual” is problematic). I’d had a good-sized sandwich for lunch and wasn’t particularly craving P. Terry’s, but it was quick and easy, so I got my cheeseburger and fries and went home.
After eating, I lay down on the couch and must have fallen asleep for a couple of hours. I woke up and realized that I needed to get water from the grocery store, and it was all I could do to drag myself to my front door. I had wanted to stop by after work to pick up the water, but, as I said, the grocery store is a madhouse in the evening. But I also wanted ice cream, so that was what likely propelled me to finally get on the road.
I didn’t expect to lose any weight. In fact, I fully anticipated that I would gain some. But today I weigh a pound less than yesterday, so I’ll take that. I’m still perplexed by the fact that I’ve lost at least a little weight over the past three days because I haven’t restricted my eating at all, but I’m not going to complain. I’ll get back on a more rigid eating plan next week, and hopefully the weight loss will be more significant each day. We’ll see…
